8650 Permanent Pro Easy On

Professional 9H Quartz Ceramic Coating for Automotive Paintwork

Up to five minutes of working time. Fewer high spots. Less rework. A finish your customers can see and feel.

CCM 8650 gives professional detailers the time they need for a controlled application and a consistently flawless result – even on larger vehicle surfaces. Instead of rushing to buff off the coating, the generous working time of up to five minutes allows for a more relaxed, precise and reliable application.

The results are immediately visible: enhanced colour depth, brilliant gloss and exceptional paintwork smoothness that lasts. Water beads impressively with a contact angle of 113°, while dirt adheres far less easily and regular vehicle maintenance becomes noticeably easier.

  • Up to 72 months of long-term protection
  • Pencil hardness up to 9H
  • Consumption of only approximately 20–25 ml per vehicle
  • Exceptional, long-lasting paintwork smoothness
  • Powerful water-beading performance
  • Pronounced easy-to-clean effect
  • PFAS-free technology

More control during application. Greater cost efficiency per vehicle. And a finish your customers will notice from the very first touch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is 9H ceramic coating?

A 9H ceramic coating forms a firmly bonded, transparent barrier layer on the paintwork once fully cured. It enhances gloss and colour depth, provides long-lasting surface slickness and creates a pronounced easy-to-clean effect. Contaminants adhere less strongly and are significantly easier to remove.

For maximum performance, the paintwork must be properly corrected and degreased, followed by controlled application and complete curing.

What does 9H mean?

9H is the highest rating on the pencil hardness scale. It describes the resistance of the cured coating under defined test conditions.

Depending on application and curing, the coating achieves a pencil hardness of up to 9H. However, this does not mean that the paintwork is completely scratch-proof or protected against stone chips.

Application of ceramic coating

Protection & Curing

  • Everyday protection: The cured ceramic barrier layer reduces the adhesion of common contaminants such as insect residue, tree sap, brake dust, tar, road salt and bird droppings, making them easier to remove during vehicle maintenance.
  • Mechanical resistance: The coating achieves a pencil hardness of up to 9H and increases the surface’s resistance under the conditions of this test method. It does not make the paintwork scratch-proof or protect it against stone chips.
  • Curing at room temperature: At 20°C, the coating is touch-dry after approximately one hour and weather-resistant after around 8–12 hours. It reaches its full performance after approximately five to seven days.
  • Accelerated curing: Controlled heat curing shortens the process. The temperatures and curing times specified in the application instructions must be observed.
