In May 2021 CCM featured in the Cornwall Live publication, as we were able to remove oil staining from the newly resurfaced Penzance promenade. Following this rescue mission (all attempts by other companies to remove the oil stain had failed), CCM’s Technical Director Neil McClelland suggested to the local authorities that it would be a good idea to protect the promenade from staining in the future.
A range of coatings were evaluated by the local authority and CCM’s 7620 penetrative stain proofing technology was chosen as the best coating for this project.
Together with a team from CCM’s application partner Liquid Glass Shield the promenade was coated on the 22nd of September, 2021. The coating was conducted with a very simple and efficient back pack spray application.
The 7620 penetrative coating offers unrivalled performance. It is highly hydrophobic and oleophobic and therefore provides long term protection for against staining for stone (including hybrid stone), concrete and wood.
See the attached project description below for more details.
