Nano It Worldwide Ltd. of Hungary and CCM formalise their Co-Operation for the Aviation Sector

Nano It Worldwide Ltd., which is based in Maglod, Hungary and CCM have established an exclusive agreement for the Aviation Sector. Under the brand “Nano It Aviation Shield” NIW will be offering a selection of ultra-high tech products and technologies which will allow the end user to clean, enhance and sanitize the substrates found within aircraft.

The coatings will  range from nano scale to micron scale and can be used for both internal and external application. In all instances the coatings will offer hydrophobicity, oleophobicity and easy clean characteristics.  The nano scale coatings also offer breathability, heat tolerance UV stability and biostatic characteristics. The Micron scale coatings are also hydro/oleophobic, massively durable, heat tolerant (to over 1000°C) and offer exceptional chemical and corrosion resistance.

These coatings will have numerous applications within the aviation sector, including drag reduction, reduction in cleaning time, enhanced aesthetics and of the possibility of reduced icing for the aircraft, whilst airborne and on the ground.

Trials will be conducted over the next 3 months (on a Boeing 737 which has been in service for several years) in order to quantify the exact fuel, cleaning and turnaround savings associated with using the unique Nano It Aviation Shield system.
