“Topping Out” ceremony for the new production plant of CCM Brazil

CCM’s global expansion is continuing at a great pace and now “CCM Brazil” is part of the family.

Bernd Zimmermann (the MD Sales & Marketing of CCM GmbH Germany) travelled to Manaus, the capital of the  Amazon region, in order to attend the opening ceremony.

The new facility, which conforms to the stringent Brazilian legislation is approximately 1000 m². It offers, production, bottling, chemical development, distribution and office areas.

Cristina Freitas, Managing Director of CCM Brazil notes:

“In addition to the construction of the building we also completed all the necessary registration processes for production companies in Brazil, within only 2 months. 

We are now authorized to manufacture, and distribute our products throughout the whole of Brazil.”

CCM Brazil may have only just started but further plans are already in place: The new production facility will start full operations in January 2015, yet further developments on the site are planned for 2016.

Bernd Zimmermann made the following comments at the ceremony:

“I am very proud that with CCM Brazil we are now represented in one of the most significant and rapidly developing markets in the world and have a base in this vibrant and forward looking country. Furthermore, we now have the opportunity to supply all of our other South American partners from Brazil, via a rapid and more cost effective process.”
