Display Coating & Cleaning for Vehicles, Motorcycles and Boats

Large displays increasingly dominate the cockpits of modern vehicles. Instrument and infotainment screens are no longer small indicators but large-format touch displays. Currently, the average display size in new vehicles is around 9.6 inches, which corresponds to approximately 24 cm diagonal screen size. Depending on the vehicle class, displays between 7 and 12 inches are common; in higher-end vehicles, systems measuring 15 inches or more are increasingly being used, in some cases as continuous panoramic displays spanning large areas of the dashboard.

Most of these displays are touchscreens and are operated directly with fingers. As a result, they naturally become dirty very quickly, mainly due to fingerprints, skin oils and dust. Regular, gentle cleaning is therefore essential to ensure lasting clarity and optimal usability.

The CCM® display range offers a coordinated solution for this: a Liquid Glass display coating (an ultra-thin glass protective layer applied to the display surface) as well as various cleaning products – available as spray or wipes depending on personal preference. This enables fast, streak-free cleaning and ensures optimal visibility of the display.

  • CCM905: Display coating kit with two wet pre-cleaning wipes (10 x 14 cm), two coating wipes (10 x 14 cm, each for approx. 1 m²), two one-way protective gloves and one microfibre cloth (10 x 10 cm)
