BIOSATIVA® BIO-CLEANER WINS THE „GREEN APPLE AWARD“ – GERMANY

CCM from Germany reports the success of its Biosativa® Bio cleaner. Biosativa® is based on yeast, plant oil condensates and salt extracts .It is a bioactive, water-soluble cleaning agent, that solubilises staining generated by fats, oils and other agents and thus ensures their complete biodegradation.

The liquid cleans more effectively than a steam cleaner. It can be used for cleaning anything from a polluted beach or oil covered sea bird to trains, super tankers, carpets, cars and wash basins. In essence, after water, it is probably the world’s most versatile cleaning technology .

Biosativa® has already been trialled in the UK successfully within NHS hospitals , train companies and numerous other organisations and now Biosativa® will be made available to the retail sector. The team at CCM recognise that it is a highly disruptive technology as this one liquid can clean almost every surface found in and around the home . As Neil McClelland MD of Liquid Glass Coatings Ltd notes “ This one liquid represents the ultimate nightmare for most of the multinational cleaning product manufacturers. It is low cost, non abrasive, completely biodegradable and outperforms most standard cleansers. As we say on the bottle “One shot does the lot”.

CCM says that there has not been such a revolutionary cleaning technology since the creation of synthetic detergents in the 1930s, but of course Biosativa is very far removed from a synthetic detergent.

The Green Apple was presented at the House of Commons on the 12th of November 2012. Biosativa won the award in the category “Environmental Best Practice Europe / UK”. The Green Apple Awards are presented annually in recognition of companies, councils and communities carrying out projects that enhance the environment and there were more than 500 nominations this year.
